Tie-off points are available for convenient docking.
Parking space is limited, with room for only a few vehicles and trailers. A nearby grassy area can accommodate around four to five trailers if needed.
The surrounding area is well-suited for a relaxed day out. There are plenty of shady spots under the trees, along with picnic tables, sheltered barbecue areas, taps, and public toilets. A children’s playground is also available, and the nearby camping ground offers accommodation for those planning to stay a while. It's not unusual to see kangaroos around the area, adding to the local charm.
The setting offers beautiful ocean views, with Moreton Island clearly visible in the distance. It's a scenic spot for boating, a casual drive, or just soaking in the coastal atmosphere.
The nearby Amity Point Jetty, only a short walk from the ramp, is a quiet place to relax, swim, or watch for dolphins. Sunset views here are particularly striking and are often considered among the best on the island.
Swimming is safe and enjoyable thanks to the Amity Point swimming enclosure, located between the jetty and the ramp, near the campground. The calm, clear water makes it ideal for children, and the area is popular for casual snorkelling with plenty of marine life visible through the netting. A nearby picnic table provides a comfortable place for adults to sit and supervise.
