The Bonnie Doon Boat Ramp, located at 240 Hutchinsons
Road, Bonnie Doon, provides direct access to Lake Eildon, a
major recreational waterway in Victoria. Situated approximately 165 km
northeast of Melbourne, the ramp is part of the Bonnie Doon Lakeside Leisure
Resort, a popular destination for boating, fishing, and water sports
enthusiasts.
The facility features five boat ramps, which operate at varying lake levels, ensuring year-round accessibility regardless of seasonal water fluctuations. This makes it a highly reliable launching site for a wide range of watercraft, boats, jet skis, and kayaks. Visitors can also enjoy water skiing, and wakeboarding in the area. The multi-ramp system ensures access regardless of seasonal lake fluctuations. Guests at the resort have access to an onsite jetty conveniently located next to the Master Boat Ramp. This jetty is available for launching and retrieving boats only and is not designated for general mooring.
Take note that it costs $10 to use the ramp if you're not staying at the Resort. The multi-ramp system ensures
access regardless of seasonal lake fluctuations.
