Booren Point Boat Ramp

The Boreen Point boat ramp, located on Urunga Parade, sits right on the shores of beautiful Lake Cootharaba which is the largest lake on the Noosa River. This single-lane concrete ramp is perfect for launching canoes, kayaks, and small boats, giving you direct access to the lake and the Upper Noosa River waterway.

Launching here is a breeze, and even 2WD vehicles won’t have any trouble. Just keep in mind that jet skis aren’t allowed in the water.

Parking can be a bit tight, especially during peak times, so plan accordingly. On the plus side, there’s a handy public toilet nearby for those urgent moments.

The area around the ramp is a lovely spot to soak in the scenery, with plenty of birdlife, including pelicans, making it a great place to relax and enjoy nature. There’s also a small off-leash area for dogs, so it’s a nice place for a stroll with your furry friend.

Since it’s a quiet, residential area, be mindful to keep noise levels down and respect the peaceful surroundings. Whether you’re here for a paddle, a boat trip, or just to take in the view, it’s a great little spot to visit!
