The Bow Park Boat Ramp, also known as the Esperance Town Boat Ramp, is the primary launching point located right on the foreshore near Bow Park, just north of the Esperance Bay Yacht Club. With its close proximity to the open ocean, it’s a convenient starting point for those heading out for a day of fishing off the Esperance coast.
The ramp itself is a decent size and well-suited for launching mid-sized recreational boats. However, some boaters note that the incline can be a little steep for certain trailers. A pontoon alongside the ramp helps make launching and retrieving boats more manageable.
There’s plenty of parking available, with space for cars and trailers, and the area includes shaded picnic spots—ideal for a break before or after your trip on the water.
Right next to the ramp is Bow Park, home to a skate park, public toilets, and walkways that connect to the long stretch of beach. There’s also a nearby takeaway shop for a quick bite. Just a short walk away, the Esperance foreshore offers even more; featuring a miniature train setup with tracks, tunnels, and a station, along with a clock tower, cycle paths, a skateboarding area, a children’s playground, grassy spaces, and a fenced swimming enclosure.
It’s a well-equipped and scenic area, great for boaters and families alike, with everything from recreational facilities to cafes and shops all within easy reach.
