The Bundalong Boat Ramp,
located on Majors Lane, Bundalong, provides direct access to Lake
Mulwala and the Murray River, making it a favored destination for boating and
fishing enthusiasts. Bundalong, positioned near the Victoria-New South Wales border, is well known for its abundant waterways, attracting visitors for water sports, recreational boating, and fishing; particularly Murray Cod fishing.
This newly upgraded dual-lane
concrete ramp ensures smooth and efficient launching for boaters, even during
peak seasons. There is a jetty near the ramp that is convenient for docking or land based fishing. Take note that the jetty is quite low and can be submerged when the water level is high. The ramp is in excellent condition, with formalised parking
available for vehicles and boat trailers. New toilet and visitor facilities, such as benches have also been added, improving convenience for users.
Lake Mulwala and the Murray
River are prime fishing locations, particularly known for Murray Cod, Golden
Perch, and other freshwater species. The region's mild climate and consistent
water conditions make it accessible for boating almost year-round. The surrounding area natural beauty and calm waters make it an ideal place for both anglers and recreational boaters to enjoy their time on the water.
