The Claxton Boat Ramp,
located at Graeme Claxton Reserve, has a single-lane concrete surface, making
it easy to use for boaters of all skill levels, whether they are beginners or
experienced. Next to the ramp, there is a jetty for docking, which gives boaters
a place to secure their boats.
Boaters should be
aware that water levels can change, sometimes leading to flooding. Also, faster
motorboats can create wakes that make the jetty unstable, so extra caution is
needed.
Graeme Claxton Reserve
is a peaceful riverside campground along the Murray River in Cadell, South
Australia. It has a grassy park area with shade next to the river, where you
can enjoy a view of the rocky orange cliffs. The campground offers free facilities
for camping, allowing you to relax and take part in river activities or explore
the Riverland area.
You will find clean
amenities, including toilets, BBQ grills, picnic tables, and a playground for
children. You can enjoy watching pelicans float along the serene river. The
picnic areas is surrounded by beautiful old gum trees which makes reconnecting
with nature a relaxing thing to do.
