It’s an ideal spot for those looking to explore the scenic South Perth waterfront or make a short trip across to Elizabeth Quay.
Please note that jet skis are not permitted to launch from this ramp. If you're heading out on a personal watercraft, the South Perth Boat Ramp is the nearest suitable option.
The ramp itself can be affected by natural river conditions, including sand build-up and bed scour, which may make launching or retrieval a bit more challenging at times. It’s recommended to check the ramp’s condition before use to ensure it’s suitable for your craft and vehicle.
There is ample parking nearby, with dedicated spaces for cars and trailers. Typically, one-hour parking is available with a ticket.
Adjacent to the ramp is a small jetty, often used for sightseeing or land-based bream fishing. The surrounding parkland is expansive and well-equipped, featuring a BBQ area, a children’s playground, a food truck, and a nearby restaurant.
