The Coomba Park
Foreshore Reserve, with picturesque views of Wallis Lake, has it all: it
features a netted tidal swimming area, shaded picnic tables, drinking water,
barbecues, restrooms, changing rooms, and plenty of grassy areas for picnics, picnic
shelters and tables, as well as a kids’ playground.
Access to the lake is easy,
with a boat ramp and jetties available for
fishing, kayaking, and other activities. There is also a swimming enclosure
available year-round; however, please note that this area contains marine life
and does not have a lifeguard on duty.
The concrete boat ramp
provides constant access to the waterway.
Enjoy a beautiful walk along the lake, which
is an easy stroll suitable for all abilities. You'll have plenty of
opportunities to see and hear diverse wildlife. The area is abundant with
birdlife and shaded spots.
A walking track runs along the lake's edge
where you may encounter friendly local kangaroos.
