The Eagle Point Boat Ramp, located along Bay Road in Eagle Point, offers a single-lane concrete ramp with a fishing jetty and pontoons on either side, making launching and retrieving straightforward. The ramp is easy to access and provides a smooth entry into the water, with generous parking nearby and excellent views across the waterfront.

The surrounding foreshore is well set up for a day out, with public amenities including BBQs, toilets, bins, showers, kids’ playground, and plenty of picnic tables and seating. A large sheltered area sits beside the playground, making it a comfortable spot for families. A Security camera has been installed near the ramp, and ongoing improvements continue to enhance the area. There are parking spots for trailers across the ramp and a designated car parking area along the sheltered picnic area.

Eagle Point’s waterfront is particularly popular for early morning walks, offering one of the best spots in the area to catch the sunrise. Several walking tracks run along the lakefront and are ideal for walking, running, or exercising pets. Please note that dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead. Along the way, you’ll often spot ducks and enjoy views of the water and nearby homes. The location is also conveniently close to Bairnsdale, with shops and services just a short drive away.

Fishing and boating are popular here, and while water conditions can occasionally be affected by algal blooms, the area remains a well-loved local foreshore. On weekends, a coffee van often sets up nearby, adding to the relaxed atmosphere.
