Located near the Logan River underpass, in the Logan River Parklands, the Eagleby Boat Ramp provides convenient access to the Logan River via a dual-lane concrete ramp. It’s a popular local launch spot for small boats and tinnies, while the nearby fishing platform and pontoon also make it a great place to cast a line from shore.
The facility offers plenty of parking and generally easy access, making it a handy option for both boating and fishing. Conditions are best around high tide, as low tide can expose large areas of mud and silt at the end of the ramp. Boaters without a 4WD are advised to take extra care, particularly when the tide is out, as the final section of the ramp can become soft and slippery.
The area is well regarded as a relaxed and peaceful riverside spot, popular with locals looking to fish, unwind, or simply enjoy some quiet time by the water. It can get fairly busy during peak periods, especially with anglers using the jetty, which can make coming alongside a little tricky with fishing lines and crab pots nearby.
Beyond boating, the large open car park is often used for beginner driving practice, while the surrounding area makes a nice place to stop for a quick meal, a short overnight stay, or a relaxing break by the river. The location is also known among locals as a handy spot for catching live prawns using bait traps. There are no other amenities within the ramp.
