The Fingal Head Boat Ramp at Fingal Head is
a great spot for easy access to the Tweed River. From there, you can head up
north to the ocean. It’s got a 2-lane concrete ramp that’s perfect for
launching small boats and jet skis. Plus, there’s a nice little sandy beach on
both sides. Even when the tide’s low, you can still launch your boat without
any issues.
Just a few steps away from the ramp,
there’s a pontoon where you can tie up your boat or hang out to fish and enjoy
the scenery. There's plenty of room in the carpark for your car and trailer,
but be aware that it can get pretty crowded on weekends and during school
holidays. Campervans also use the carpark.
You’ll find public toilets and wash down
areas right across from the carpark, making it super convenient for you when
you visit this lovely place.

If you're looking to
purchase a boat or upgrade your boat engine, Tweed Coast Marine is the place
to visit. A 7-minute drive from the ramp, they provide a wide selection of Quintrex
and Pioneer boats and Mercury outboard engines. You can easily trailer your
boat to the dealership and back to the ramp without wasting too much time. They
also supply trailers, marine gear, fishing supplies, and a variety of other
boating equipment.
