Hillarys Boat Harbour Boat Ramp is situated at the intersection of Southside and Northside Drives along the stunning coastline in Hillarys, just 18 kilometers north of Perth's bustling CBD. This ramp boasts exceptional boating facilities designed within an extraordinary coastal park and recreational environment, complemented by a vibrant mix of retail and leisure attractions.
The facility features six concrete ramps, each with catwalks on either side, making it an ideal spot for both novice and seasoned boaters. While this ramp is well-known for its excellent protection from the elements, visitors should be prepared for it to be quite busy during peak days; arriving early is highly recommended.
Parking at the ramp is ample, with a spacious, well-lit car park that offers at least 100 designated spots for vehicles and trailers. It's important to remember that parking fees are applicable, so plan accordingly to avoid any unexpected expenses.
The ramp is equipped with essential amenities, including a convenient wash-down facility to keep your boat in pristine condition. While there's a limited lay-by mooring area nearby, you'll also find a reliable boat lifting, storage, and maintenance facility. A well-stocked chandlery is located just west of the launching ramps to cater to all your boating needs, and mechanical repair services are readily accessible.
For fuelling, there’s a 50-metre jetty on the harbour’s north side, open 24/7 with diesel and unleaded petrol available via credit card.
Toilet and shower facilities are provided exclusively for boat pen holders, with additional public amenities located throughout the harbour precinct and at Sorrento Quay Boardwalk. All are accessible to people with disability.
Beyond boating, Hillarys Harbour is a vibrant hub offering a wide mix of dining, attractions, shops, and services that appeal to fishers, boaters, tourists, and beachgoers alike. It's a practical and enjoyable destination, whether you're heading out on the water or simply spending a day by the coast.
