This ramp is one of
the available boat ramps in Hulls Heads, featuring a single-lane concrete
design that provides direct access to the Hull River and the ocean beyond.
Exercise caution during low tide, as the area is known for its expansive
sandbar that becomes exposed in shallow waters.
Adjacent to the ramp
is a pontoon for mooring and a small dock located just a few steps away.
The area has a scenic and
idyllic environment, perfect for sightseeing, cruising, and fishing—though
these activities are best enjoyed during the daytime (you’ll find out soon why).
Swimming is prohibited since the Hull River is home to crocodiles. If you plan
to observe them, do so with extreme care. Check out this video on how to
navigate safely in croc-infested waters.
Anglers will find
excellent opportunities to catch species like bream and baitfish in this area.
However, refrain from cleaning your catch near the water to avoid attracting hungry
crocodiles looking for a quick bite (pun intended).
Ample parking is
available for both cars and trailers, and the facility includes a boat
wash-down station and toilet facilities.

to visit. A 19-minute drive from the ramp, they provide a wide selection of Quintrex,
Haines Hunter, and Yamaha outboards. You can easily trailer your boat to the
dealership and back to the ramp without wasting too much time. They also supply
trailers, marine gear, fishing supplies, and a variety of other boating
equipment.
