Adjacent to the boat ramp is the Sir John Chandler Park, located between the Indooroopilly Golf Club and the Brisbane River. This park offers a tranquil atmosphere along the river, featuring extensive grassy areas, beautiful trees, and scenic river views. Amenities include a shaded play area for children, barbecue stations, seating facilities, a spacious parking lot, clean toilets, a children's playground, a water tap, walking paths, and a gazebo.
The park is well-suited for small family gatherings and social events, with fresh air from the river providing a pleasant environment, especially during warmer weather. In the afternoons, it is common to see dog owners walking their pets in the park.
