If you're heading up
north from Perth, Jurien Bay is a must-visit; especially if you're into
boating, fishing, diving, or just soaking up the coastal vibes. Right in the
heart of town, the Jurien Bay Boat Ramp sits inside the sheltered waters of the
Jurien Bay Boat Harbour, making launching a breeze no matter the conditions.
The ramp features four
solid concrete lanes and two handy jetties where you can tie off your boat
while you go grab your car or trailer. It's an easy, stress-free launch spot,
with bonus features like fish-cleaning stations and a tap to flush or rinse down
your boat and trailer after a day out on the water.
There's a sealed car
park just east of the harbour with space for more than 70 cars and trailers;
plenty of room, even on busy weekends.
The harbour itself is
well-equipped for all kinds of vessels, whether you're running charters, out
for a dive tour, or just enjoying a recreational cruise. There are four service
jetties, a fuel jetty with diesel, and even a boat lifter setup with secure
fencing, large sheds, a wash-down area, and hardstand space. Perfect for
boaters to do their maintenance, storage, or repairs.
And it’s not just
limited to boating; Jurien Bay is a top spot for a swim, too. The water's
crystal clear, the sand is soft, and there’s a shady area where you can relax
between dips.
The Harbour also has a
tour operator for sea lion tours if you want to swim with these friendly
critters.
Whether you’re out
chasing fish or just in it for the beach day vibes, Jurien Bay’s boat harbour
has you covered.
