The Kingston-on-Murray Harbour Boat Ramp is located at Kingston on Murray, providing direct and convenient access to the south bank waters of the Murray River. Situated in a rural area, the ramp offers a beautiful natural setting along the river and its surroundings.
The ramp features a small concrete single-lane design, suitable for launching small watercraft, including kayaks, small fishing boats, and recreational vessels. A pontoon is also available, allowing for easy docking, retrieval, loading, and unloading, as the end of the ramp is already in deep water.
There is a spacious area for parking vehicles and trailers. Although the ramp lacks additional amenities, the adjacent reserve offers tables, benches, toilets, BBQ stations, and rubbish bins, making it an ideal spot for families and groups to relax after a day of boating.
Visitors can enjoy the sight of houseboats docked along the riverbank, and there is a variety of wildlife to observe in the area. For those without their own boat, cruises are available for a delightful day on the waters of the Murray River. Please note that the reserve is designated for day use only, and camping is prohibited. However, a caravan park is located just a few meters from the ramp and the reserve.
