The Lake Barrington
Park boat ramp is strategically located at the Lake Barrington Campground at
Wilmot, making it easy for campers to launch their boats without any hassle.
The ramp features a single concrete lane designed specifically for small boats.
In addition, there’s a floating jetty for docking and a platform on the
opposite side of the ramp, ensuring everyone can take full advantage of the
stunning views. Boating on Lake Barrington is an excellent way to enjoy the
calm environment.
Camping here is
entirely free, providing a fantastic opportunity for a peaceful getaway. The
campground has ample space for you to park your camper or set up your tent,
along with accessible toilets for your convenience. Open fires are permitted,
but always confirm that it’s allowed during your visit. Day users can take
advantage of the picnic areas—complete with barbecue stations, picnic tables,
and benches. It's also great for dogs to roam around without any restrictions
(as long as dog owners are responsible with their mutts). Be sure to explore
the tracks leading to hidden waterfalls; you won’t want to miss out on that
experience!
