The Lake Burrendong Park Boat Ramp is located at the Lake Burrendong Holiday Park. This single-lane concrete boat ramp provides easy access to Lake Burrendong but can be shallow at times. There are also other boat ramps available at Lake Burrendong within the Main Park and at Eagle Beagle.

Lake Burrendong Park is situated an hour between Dubbo and Orange, offering year-round attractions for fishing enthusiasts, nature lovers, bushwalkers, campers, and picnickers. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash.

Visitors can do various water activities such as kayaking, skiing, jet skiing, sailing, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. Fish species that anglers can catch include yellow belly, redfin, Murray cod, silver perch, catfish, and European carp.

Aside from water activities, visitors can see other local critters such as kangaroos and native birdlife. They can also explore the Burrendong Dam to enjoy the stunning lake and basin views and head out for a day trip to Dubbo Zoo or Wellington Caves.
