The Maclean Court
House Boat Ramp is a well-maintained, two-lane concrete ramp located at
McNaughton Place in Maclean, New South Wales, right next to the Old Ashby Ferry
crossing. With a jetty beside it for easy docking, this ramp launches directly
into the Clarence River and provides all-tide access, making it a convenient
spot to hit the water at any time.
Whether you’re setting
off on a fishing adventure or a scenic cruise, the breathtaking views of the
Clarence River make for a memorable experience. There are picnic benches
nearby, perfect for taking a break and soaking in the surroundings.
One downside to keep
in mind is that there are no public toilets or fish cleaning stations in the
immediate area. However, parking is plentiful thanks to the Maclean Court
House’s spacious lot adjacent to the ramp. The Court House is open three days a
week (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). A police station is also located next
door, so you're assured the ramp is safe to use at all times.
