The Mannum Boat Ramp on Polack St is a
well-maintained two-lane concrete ramp that gives boaters easy access to the
Murray River. There’s also a pontoon jetty on the side, making berthing a
breeze.
With the Murray River being a hotspot for
cruising and fishing, this ramp is hugely popular among boaters and anglers.
The car park offers decent space for cars and trailers, but during peak hours,
it fills up fast, so it’s best to get in early. A toilet block is conveniently
located right next to the parking area.
Just a few metres away, Mary Ann Reserve is
the perfect place to kick back and relax with family and friends. You’ll find
picnic tables and benches, making it a great spot for a casual lunch or picnic
by the water. If you're lucky, you might even spot the Murray River Ferry
cruising through. Operated by the local government, this ferry is completely
free for anyone wanting to cross the river.
