Maroochy River Boat Ramp

The Maroochy River Boat Ramp in Maroochydore is a double boat ramp with a handy landing jetty, making it super easy to get your boat into the Maroochy River. There’s a small sandy spot on the right side that could be the tiniest beach around, plus a brand-new pontoon next to the ramp. It’s a solid spot to launch at any tide, though some areas can be a bit shallow, and the tide can really rush through. It’s a popular hangout on weekends with all sorts of watercraft. The fishing’s great here too since you might catch stingrays, bream, or even stonefish!

The area around the ramp is a great spot for fishing, waterskiing, or just hanging out with the family by the shore.

There’s plenty of parking for cars and trailers, and amenities include toilets, a kids' playground, picnic tables, and walking and bike paths. The nearby park has shady spots with picnic tables and BBQs, so it’s perfect for a chill day. You can cool off with drinks at the picnic tables after a session on the water. If you’re into walking, you’ll love strolling along the river, watching boats go by, and soaking up the natural beauty. The sunsets here are stunning, and it’s an all-around awesome place to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
