The Mindarie Marina Boat Ramp, located in the coastal suburb of Mindarie, north of Perth, offers a four-lane setup within the sheltered waters of the marina. It features two wooden jetties and four concrete ramps: two dedicated to launching and two to retrieving, making it a well-organised and practical option, most of the time, for boaters in the area.

Thanks to its convenient location and easy access to offshore waters, the ramp is a favourite among northern suburbs residents. However, its popularity does mean that delays are common during peak times. On summer weekends with favourable weather, it's not unusual to experience wait times of over an hour, particularly when retrieving boats in the afternoon.

A ramp usage fee applies and can be paid at the ticket machine near the facility.

The car park is spacious, accommodating numerous vehicles, including trailers. Once you’re out of the marina, there are plenty of local landmarks to explore. Heading south, you’ll pass “Claytons,” a known surf break off Mindarie Beach, followed by a series of reefs around Burns Beach, within the protected Burns Beach Marine Park.

To the north, you'll cruise past Quinns Beach and eventually spot remnants of the Alkimos Wreck. If you're heading west, you'll make your way through the Three Mile Reef system. These waters hold several hidden reefs, so careful navigation is recommended, especially in rougher weather. Sudden swells and unexpected breaking waves can catch even experienced boaters off guard.

A wash-down bay is conveniently located at the exit of the car park, offering a practical way to clean down your boat after a day on the water. There is also a bait and tackle shop where boaters can stock up on their fishing supplies and boating gear and grab a drink and a snack or have a full meal.

While the ramp can get congested on summer weekends, it's usually much quieter midweek or during the cooler months, making it a smooth and straightforward experience when the crowds ease off.
