The Noosaville Boat Ramp, located on Gympie Terrace in Noosaville, is a well-maintained dual-lane concrete ramp with a handy pontoon, making it an easy and efficient launch spot for small to trailerable watercraft. Boaters will find access straightforward, with the option to pull up onto the nearby beach for a break or extended stop.
At high tide, the pontoon can comfortably accommodate around four small boats... or more if you’re willing to squeeze in. During busy times, it’s possible to have 3–4 boats launching at once. There are also numerous jetties along the beach where boats can be docked, though additional lighting would improve visibility for early morning or nighttime use.
Parking is available for trailers, boats, and personal watercraft, but it does get tight during weekends and holiday periods. The area is shared with nearby cafes and shops, so finding a space during the day can be a challenge. While there’s no designated accessible parking, the site is step-free and should be manageable for most users. A freshwater tap is available to rinse down equipment.
Beyond the ramp, the riverside setting offers a relaxed atmosphere for more than just boating. The Noosa River is ideal for scenic walks, birdwatching, or simply sitting back to enjoy the sunrise or sunset.
The surrounding parkland includes wide, shared-use paths, picnic areas with shaded tables, BBQ facilities, a children’s playground, water fountains, outdoor fitness stations, and clean public toilets, all contributing to a family-friendly space perfect for a day out.
