The Paradise Point Boat Ramp, located in the coastal suburb of Paradise Point on the Gold Coast, is a well-designed three-lane concrete ramp offering good protection from the elements.
With a central pontoon (making it easy for a single person to launch and retrieve a boat) and a ramp on either side, it provides ample space for launching boats, jet skis, and other watercraft. It’s a popular public facility and a reliable launch point for locals and visitors alike.
Often considered one of the better boat ramps in the northern Gold Coast, this location features sandy beaches on either side, making it easier to manoeuvre without the concern of sharp rocks that are common at other ramps.
The ramp offers direct access to both the Broadwater and Coomera River, which is a convenient starting point for scenic boating trips. The surrounding area is peaceful and pleasant, with good views and a calm, coastal atmosphere.
There’s designated parking for vehicles with trailers, both in the adjacent car park and along nearby streets. That said, it can get quite busy on weekends and public holidays, so launching early is recommended if you want to avoid delays.
Facilities on-site include public toilets, a fish cleaning station, and easy beach access. There’s also a nearby pier, fuel, and a boating shop beside the ramp. The area also offers some lovely picnic spots and walking paths if you’re looking to spend a bit more time by the water.
For those after a coffee before heading out, a cafe is conveniently located right beside the ramp; a nice place to stop and take in the view before launching.
