The Point Peron Boat Ramp, located in the coastal suburb of Peron within the City of Rockingham, offers a well-equipped facility for boaters. With six concrete lanes and three jetties, it's designed to handle a good volume of traffic and provides an easy launch and retrieval experience for most users.

Upgraded in April 2024, the ramp saw improvements to the supporting piles of the northern and southern floating jetties, making for smoother and more reliable use. While generally well-protected, users should exercise caution during large swells, over 2 metres, as surging and silting can occur, potentially causing issues during launch or retrieval if not approached carefully.

There’s ample parking available with space for over 60 vehicles and trailers, as well as designated rigging areas. However, the ramp can become very busy on calm or fine-weather days, so arriving early is recommended, especially on weekends and public holidays.

A fish cleaning station, toilet and shower facilities, and washdown bays (bring your own hose and fittings) are available on site. Accessibility is also a strong point.

If you're lucky and arrive early, you might catch the coffee van or soft serve truck that occasionally set up nearby; nice bonuses to start or finish your outing. The area around the ramp is also a great starting point for various activities, including jet skiing, snorkelling, fishing, or simply exploring the coastline.

Natural sandstone and limestone formations along the beach add visual interest, though the rocks can be sharp in places. The nearby walking trails offer beautiful views, easy access, and a peaceful setting, which is ideal for a casual stroll, bird watching, or photography. The area is also dog-friendly and makes a pleasant spot for a picnic.
