The Quindalup Boat Ramp, located between Busselton and Dunsborough in the coastal township of Quindalup, features two concrete ramps: one for launching and one for retrieving. It’s generally a reliable ramp for small to mid-sized recreational vessels, with good access and practical facilities. The jetty is in solid condition, long enough to accommodate a couple of 6-metre boats on either side, and fitted with cleats and well-padded posts for safe tie-ups. The ramps are separated by a short finger jetty, which makes launching and retrieval more efficient, especially if you're waiting on a trailer or offloading gear.

However, the ramp can become quite sandy, especially near the bottom section, which can make launching difficult at low tide. It’s best suited for smaller craft, boats under 5 metres, lightweight aluminium boats, or jet skis. Larger vessels may struggle due to the shallow gradient, and you’ll likely need to get your trailer fairly deep, so be prepared for wet brakes on your tow vehicle.

Facing north, the ramp is somewhat exposed in breezy conditions, but it’s generally well protected from southerly winds. On quieter days, particularly midweek, parking is ample with space for both vehicles and trailers. That said, it fills quickly on weekends and public holidays, so arriving early is recommended during peak periods.

There are public toilets nearby, as well as beach access and walking trails. The Naturaliste Volunteer Marine Rescue is located across the ramp as well. The area is a favourite for families; kids enjoy casting a line off the jetty, and you might even catch squid or whiting in the right conditions.

While the beach here tends to be a little weedy and isn’t ideal for sunbathing, it’s great for launching, fishing, or just enjoying a peaceful walk at sunset. Even when you're not out on the water, Quindalup Boat Ramp offers a scenic spot to relax, fish, or take in the surroundings with the family.
