The Reddall Reserve,
situated along the shores of Lake Illawarra, is a popular destination for
families and groups on the weekends, offering a variety of outdoor activities
such as picnicking, cycling, boating, and fishing. The boat ramp at the Reserve
was renovated in 2021. The new single concrete ramp extends further out,
improving boat access during low tides. Additionally, a floating deck installed
adjacent to the ramp provides improved and safe access for users.
Anglers can utilise
the fish cleaning station to clean their catch. The Reserve also features a
playground for kids with a water area and an exercise park. Visitors can enjoy
picnic or BBQ gatherings with the available facilities. Walking and cycling are
enjoyable activities along the Illawarra Art Trail, where visitors can immerse
themselves in Aboriginal heritage, local history, and nature.
