The Toorbul Boat Ramp, located in the quiet coastal community of Toorbul, offers a convenient twin-ramp setup with a well-sized pontoon alongside. It provides easy access to the Pumicestone Passage, making it a popular launch point for boaters heading into this scenic stretch of water. The ramp area is spacious, allowing plenty of room to rig and turn vessels with ease. While generally accessible and user-friendly, launching can become a bit more challenging during windy conditions or when the swell picks up.

In addition to the main facility, there are two smaller, tide-dependent single ramps located about 100 metres on either side. These are particularly suitable for tinnies and smaller craft, offering more flexible options depending on conditions and vessel size.

There’s ample parking available near the ramp, including designated trailer spaces and a nearby lot for beachgoers. The area also features a small beach, toilets, shaded seating areas, and BBQ facilities; making it a pleasant place for a relaxed weekend outing, especially for families.

Toorbul also has a few local shops and a takeaway within walking distance, serving well-regarded fish and chips, burgers, and coffee at reasonable prices. It’s an ideal spot for a quick fishing session too, with bream among the common catches.
