The Town Beach Boat Ramp is the go-to spot for launching right in the heart of Broome. This small, single-lane concrete ramp extends into the water but is often covered in sand, giving it a true beachside feel. If you're looking to explore Roebuck Bay or head towards Dampier Creek, this is the closest and most convenient ramp to get you there.
Keep in mind, though, that this ramp is heavily influenced by the tides. It’s only accessible around high tide, and during low tide, the waterline can retreat hundreds of meters. If you're planning to launch when the tide is out, you'll need a 4WD to get your boat in and out from the beach.
Parking is a breeze with plenty of spaces for cars and trailers, so you won’t have to stress about finding a spot.
One of the standout features nearby is the long jetty, a popular attraction for both locals and visitors. Whether you’re into fishing, taking a scenic stroll, or snapping photos of the stunning water views and marine life, this jetty is a must-visit.
The area around the ramp’s car park is also a great hangout spot for families. There are sheltered picnic areas, benches, BBQ stations, and a playground for the little ones to enjoy. Public toilets and even an electric vehicle charger are conveniently located behind the playground, making it an all-around fantastic spot for a fun day by the water!
