The Beacon19 Boat
Ramp is one of the main access points to the Coorong National Park. These
popular boating facilities are located near the Goolwa Barrage and have been
upgraded recently to improve the existing facilities for a safer boat launching
point for boaters accessing the Coorong and encourage everyone to explore
Beacon 19 natural attractions through bird watching, nature walks, fishing, and
other experiences one can do in the Coorong.
There’s a wide parking
space near the boat ramp where boaters can easily maneuver their vehicles and
boat trailers. One can also hike on the Boardwalk starting from the Beacon 19
car park. Walk through the sand dunes via the Boardwalk and enjoy seeing the
wild plants and ocean views in the nature walk.
