The single-lane sandy
gravelled boat ramp at Coronet Bay is a laid-back spot where you can easily
launch your boat for some cruising or fishing in Western Port Bay. It’s pretty
accessible, but be aware for the tide since the beach is flat and it comes in
fast.
When fishermen use the
fish cleaning station, it tends to draw in a bunch of pelicans, which is kind
of fun to see.
This place is great
for families, making it the perfect spot for a day trip or a quick pit stop on
a road trip. The beach is safe for swimming and usually not too crowded, plus
it has some amazing views.
You’ll find a parking
area, toilets, picnic tables, bronze sculptures, and a BBQ area nearby. There's
also a cool kids' park and an outdoor shower for when you’re done swimming.
