This two-lane concrete
ramp located under the M1 at Tweed Heads South, gives easy access to Terranora Creek and is a great
area to launch your boats. There is also a small wharf beside that is great for
loading and unloading pontoons or fishing if you don’t have a boat to launch in
the ramp. The ramp can be a bit slippery at low tide conditions. The ramp closes at 4:15 PM, so be sure to visit early.
There is plenty of seating
and shade with cool breezes which is a good location for lunch (There are shops
across the road where you can buy food and beverages). Overall, it is a great
area to bring your family along. The area is also teeming with pelicans.
