Geelong Limeburners
Point Ramp has recently been upgraded to provide more car & trailer parking
capacity due to the high demand for more parking spaces. Limeburners Point is
one of the busiest ramps in Geelong since it has easy access to Corio Bay and
Western Port Phillip where a lot of boaters can catch various fish species.
A total of 56 car
& trailer bays have been created plus a further 11 single parking bays,
including 2 accessible parks. The number of boat
ramps has increased from 3 to 5 to improve efficiency in boat launch and retrieval.
New pontoons are added
for greater berthing capacity. The offshore break wall has been rebuilt and extended
to protect the harbour more during less ideal weather conditions.
All facilities at
Limeburners Point Ramp are free.
