The Kianinny Bay Boat Ramp is suitable for
larger boats and provides ocean access for vessels of all sizes, primarily for
inshore and offshore recreational fishing. Access to the boat ramp is via
Kianinny Street, which is a sealed road.
The boat ramp has a sturdy concrete design
with grooves and three lanes to use. There's a permanent stepped jetty that
goes along with it. The area is easy to find with clear signs and painted
lines, plus there are 32 parking spots just for vehicles and trailers. Fish
cleaning facilities are located next to the boat ramp, while boat washing
facilities can be found on the access road on the exit lane side. Public
toilets and waste disposal facilities are available at the adjacent park.
The water in the area is calm and super
clear, making it ideal for swimming. There is also a nice enclosed area for
swimming, along with a picnic and BBQ area, and a bush walking track. This spot
comes highly recommended for families, and you can often see kangaroos and
pelicans here. Stingrays can also be spotted in the surrounding waters.
