This single-lane
concrete boat ramp provides direct access to the Murray River. The Kremuk
Street Boat Ramp is accessible from Pemberton Street in West Albury. This area
also serves as the starting point for the Yindyamarra Sculpture Walk.
The free day-use area
offers ample car and boat parking, picnic tables, and public toilets. Visitors
can engage in activities such as boating, fishing, picnicking, local wildlife
viewing, studying local plant life, cycling, and hiking. The area is
dog-friendly. However, camping or overnight parking is not permitted.
Swimming in the Murray
River can be dangerous as conditions can change rapidly due to cold water
temperatures, strong currents, and submerged objects.
