Ouyen Lake is a man made lake located in Mallee, in the North West Victoria. This 14-hectare recreational lake is surrounded by native bushland and includes a boat ramp, a beach and a picnic area.

The concrete boat ramp is excellent for launching boats thanks to its high dam level. The pontoon beside the ramp also makes the whole launching and retrieving of boats easier. There is a wide and open sandy area where boaters can easily park their car and trailer.

Around the lake, you can find a BBQ pavilion area complete with free electric BBQs, toilets, a playground and a floating fishing pontoon/walkway where anglers can fish along the banks of the lake.

The lake is stocked with Silver and Golden Perch, Rainbow Trout and Murray Cod. It is the perfect place to drop a line, enjoy a leisurely walk with your family, catch up with friends for a BBQ or just sit back and relax and watch the sunset.
