The Murrabit Boat Ramp
is situated at Miss Keats Picnic Park, just 2.8 km north of Murrabit. This
single-lane concrete ramp provides convenient access to the Murray River, with
the Murrabit Bridge located a short distance upstream.
Adjacent to the boat
ramp, there are designated parking areas for cars and boat trailers. Miss Keats
Picnic Park serves as the official camping site, offering an ideal setting for
picnics and scenic views of the river and bridge. Camping is permitted for a
maximum of 28 nights; however, it's important to note that camping is not
allowed within 28 meters of the Murray River. The areas on either side of the
boat ramp are restricted to day use only.
Fires are only
permitted in designated fire pits, ensuring safety and cleanliness in the area.
For restroom facilities, visitors can utilise the toilets located at the
Murrabit Public Hall.
