The Saunders Beach Ramp
is one of the ramps accessible in Althaus Creek, one of the many small creeks
located to the North of Townsville.
The single lane made
with quality concrete is easy to launch for small boats towed by any standard
car. Low tides are considered reasonable here and not a big concern.
The car park near the
ramp is gravel, and there is a short section of gravel road on the way in.
There are no other amenities at the ramp, however, Saunders Beach Park is not
far away. In the park, you will find public toilets, BBQs, and seating. The
beach is largely untouched and visitors frequently have the beach to
themselves. They can take nature walks, drop a line to fish, picnic on the sandy
beach, and swim in the waters. There are restaurants where visitors can eat a
meal.

If you are looking to
buy boats or need to upgrade your boat engine, look no further Coral Coast Marine (a Quintrex boat and Yamaha outboard engines
dealership) they are approximately an hour and a 55-minute drive from the Beach.
You can easily trailer your boat to the dealership and back to the ramp without
taking too much time. You can also buy a boat trailer, marine gear, fishing
supplies, and boating equipment from well-known brands.
