The Turners Beach Reserve
Boat Ramp is located in Turners Beach, Tasmania. The concrete ramp has a single
lane and it’s safe and easy to use in all weather and tide conditions. However,
the ramp is prone to sand build-up due to the sand shift nearby.
The Reserve is
surrounded by trees and includes a central car park, picnic area, and
recreation facilities. Along the coastline, there are beachfront houses, and
towards the east, there is a caravan park. This area is free to use during the
day and offers amenities such as toilets, drinking water, beautiful scenery,
walking tracks, and swimming areas. It is also dog-friendly, with the condition
that dogs must be kept on a leash. However, camping or overnight parking is not
permitted.
